Key Largo is the dive capital of North America — protected by John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Spiegel Grove, USCG Duane, Christ of the Abyss, and a long list of shallow reefs make this the most consistent reef diving on the East Coast.

The Spiegel Grove sits upright in ~134 ft with the bridge superstructure rising to ~50 ft. Most recreational divers do the top decks (60–80 ft). Penetration and deeper structure require advanced and wreck certifications.
