My relationship with the ocean began in the arms of adversity. Childhood dreams of delving into the deep were seemingly shattered due to ear issues that kept me from even swimming. But like the stoic sages of yore, challenges only steeled my resolve. With Marcus Aurelius as a guiding light, my passion for the ocean remained undiminished. I have a profound connection with the ocean that feels as protective and serene as a womb, even when surrounded by the majestic might of 20 bull sharks.

Fast forward through years of determination and about 250 dives later, I overcame those challenges. And after 8 grueling months of intense training, I proudly achieved my dream of becoming a PADI Divemaster.

Stoic Diver isn't just a website; it's a reflection of a life deeply intertwined with the sea. Here, I share mesmerizing videos from my dives, educational tidbits about our beautiful oceans, dive planning tools for fellow divers, honest gear reviews, and more. My mission? To be a beacon for fellow divers and those intrigued by the mysterious allure of the deep, and to bridge the gap between diving and the timeless wisdom of stoicism.

While this platform serves as a confluence of my two great loves – diving and stoicism – there's a secret ambition too. In the future, I hope to guide aspiring divers, drawing from my experiences and certifications.
